Mboka Zero tolerance
Mboka Connect strictly prohibits any content or behaviour involving child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE): sexual images, videos or text involving a minor, soliciting a minor, grooming, sextortion, trafficking or any contact aimed at exploiting a child. This applies to listings, posts, profiles, groups and private messages.
Adult-only accounts
Accounts are restricted to people aged 18 or over (terms of use). A minor may travel or stay with an adult, but has no personal account and cannot search for travel companions on their own.
Report content or an account
In the app, every listing, post, message and profile can be reported (“Report” button) and any member can be blocked. You can also email contact@mbokaconnect.app with the name of the account and, if possible, a screenshot. Never forward an abuse image yourself: describe it and report it.
What we do
Child safety reports are handled first by an administrator. The content is removed, the account suspended then permanently deleted, and the information needed for an investigation is kept securely with restricted access.
Cooperation with authorities
We report child sexual abuse material to the competent authorities, including the French PHAROS platform and NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children), and respond to lawful requests from law enforcement.
